After all of our Halloween preparatory activities, on the actual night, Avery went trick or treating with her friend Phoebe. Without coordinating at all, they BOTH ended up going as princesses (along with every other 3 year old girl!). Avery had lots of fun knocking on doors and saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" when mom reminded her. Avery says her favorite candy was "pink."
Here are the results of our joint efforts to get pumpkins carved for Halloween. Avery and Elliot came with me to buy the pumpkins. The next night, Avery and Mike cleaned the pumpkins and carved the first two. The next day, Avery and mom carved the last two and put in the candles. Hooray!
