April and Spring!
In the beginning of April, the weather started getting good enough to go on walks. Below is a little hike we took with the kids. Avery is exploring a mini cave and waterfall. Elliot is finding horsewhips used by leprechauns while riding. Norah is enjoying the view!

On Easter weekend, I took Norah to California and Sandy and Monte came out to spend the weekend with Mike and the two girls. The picture below is the only one I have of their visit because Mike took pictures on his phone. But they had a great time biking, going to the beach and bbq-ing with the neighbors.

I had a great time in CA. I went down to get some family time in and to attend the opening reception for my dad's art show through the National Park Service. It was a great event. We also went to TravelTown, especially for my nephew Sam who LOVES trains. It was so entertaining watching Sam run around half out of his mind with joy.

Easter egg hunting! Leah and friends put on a egg hunt in which some of the eggs had children's hymns. So while Sam was opening eggs, he would occasionally open one with a song and we would all sing it. It was a great Easter moment!

Mariners Opening Day. The shot below was taken from the Mariner's stadium. We took the kids for opening day. I think Mike's original plan was to take only one or two of the kids, which in retrospect may have been a better idea. It's always a fun atmosphere, but we could only handle about three innings of it. One of the funnest parts was taking a rickshaw bike thingy back to the car (fourth picture down)

HuskyFest. This is the 150th year of UW and they had events run all week on campus. We spent some time checking out the festivities this Saturday. The girls below are showing off their painted tatoos and headbands. The day was so gorgeous and UW campus is beautiful. The last shot is of campus with Mt. Rainier in the background. Beautiful!
